What is a DirectAdmin License, and why buy it separately from a VPS?
AsiaGB VPS plans come with Full Root Access but no Control Panel installed by default. Customers who want to manage their sites through a GUI instead of the command line can purchase a DirectAdmin Retail License separately and install it on their VPS.
Which plan is right for me?
Personal Plus suits a personal site or a developer managing their own server (2 accounts, 20 domains). Lite suits a small company managing multiple client sites (10 accounts, 50 domains). Standard suits reseller/shared-hosting providers who need unlimited accounts and domains.
Does it support Windows Server?
No. DirectAdmin is a Linux-only Control Panel. If you're using a Windows VPS, you'll need a different panel, such as Plesk.
Can I use it on the VPS Starter plan?
No. The VPS Starter plan doesn't have enough resources to run DirectAdmin. We recommend upgrading to Asiavps 1 or higher before installing.
How does renewal and cancellation work?
This is an annual service that renews every 12 months. You can choose not to renew by notifying the AsiaGB team via Ticket or email before the renewal date.
Does the price include installation?
Lite and Standard include free installation from our team. Personal Plus is self-installed, though you can also ask our team to help install it for an additional fee.
