All AsiaGB DirectAdmin Hosting plans support multiple domains on a single account — no additional plan needed. Simply add domains in the format that suits your use case. DirectAdmin offers four domain types: Addon Domain, Parked Domain, Subdomain, and Domain Pointer, each serving a different purpose.

Adding an Addon Domain (Independent Website)

Addon Domains are ideal when you want to host multiple separate websites under one hosting plan. Each domain gets its own file folder, email accounts, and SSL certificate.

Steps

1. Go to DirectAdmin → Domain Setup → Add Another Domain
2. Enter the domain name, e.g., secondsite.com
3. DirectAdmin automatically creates the folder domains/secondsite.com/public_html/
4. Point the Nameservers or A Record of secondsite.com to this hosting's IP address

Configure Nameservers or A Record

If your domain is registered with AsiaGB, go to DirectAdmin → DNS Management — DNS is configured automatically. If the domain is registered elsewhere, update its A Record to point to the hosting IP (find it under DirectAdmin → Server Information).

Adding a Parked Domain (Alias)

If you registered example.net and example.co.th and want them to show the same website as example.com, use a Parked Domain:

1. DirectAdmin → Domain Setup → Add Another Domain
2. Select Park Domain on existing domain
3. Choose the primary domain to park onto
4. Point the Nameservers/A Record of the new domain to the same IP

Adding a Subdomain

Subdomains like shop.example.com or api.example.com are created from:

1. DirectAdmin → Subdomain Management → Create Subdomain
2. Enter the prefix, e.g., shop (creates shop.example.com)
3. DirectAdmin automatically creates the DNS record and folder public_html/shop/

When running multiple domains on a single hosting account, understanding DNS management is essential. DirectAdmin provides a built-in DNS Manager where you can configure all record types independently for each domain.

Using Email Across Multiple Domains on One Hosting Account

One often-overlooked benefit is that each Addon Domain can have its own full-featured email accounts without purchasing a separate Email Hosting service. Everything is managed through Email Manager inside DirectAdmin.

Email Features Per Domain

• Mailboxes — Create addresses like [email protected] and [email protected] with no hard limit (subject to hosting disk quota)
• Email Forwarders — Automatically forward email from [email protected] to any other address
• Autoresponders — Send automatic replies when email arrives, useful for out-of-office messages
• Spam Filter — SpamAssassin filters spam independently for each domain
• Webmail — Access email via webmail.secondsite.com or mail.secondsite.com

Setting Up SPF and DKIM for Addon Domain Email

To prevent outgoing email from being flagged as spam, configure SPF and DKIM for every domain you send email from:

1. Go to DirectAdmin → Email Manager → DKIM Management
2. Select the domain and click Generate DKIM Keys
3. DirectAdmin automatically adds the required TXT records
4. Verify the SPF record exists with a value similar to v=spf1 +a +mx ~all

Multiple Domains on One Hosting vs Separate Hosting Accounts

Choosing whether to consolidate domains on one hosting account or use separate accounts depends on traffic volume and how critical each website is. The table below can help guide the decision.

Installing SSL for Every Domain

After adding a domain or subdomain, install SSL immediately using the free Let's Encrypt integration in DirectAdmin:

1. DirectAdmin → SSL Certificates
2. Select the domain
3. Choose Free & automatic certificate from Let's Encrypt
4. Click Save — SSL is issued within 1–2 minutes

Important Limitations

• Domain count — depends on the hosting plan; some plans limit the number of Addon Domains. Check the Hosting Plans page for details
• Shared resources — multiple domains on one plan share CPU, RAM, and disk. High-traffic sites should consider dedicated hosting
• SSL per domain — each domain requires its own SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt is free for every domain)
